the demon's constant chatter.
Why?
Your enemies hate your blind spot;
that might be why they hate you.
They give you a wake up call:
"that's not right at all!"
Demons love your blind spot!
They use it to lead you to hell.
An enemy says, "wake up!"
"You're in my way again!"
Demons say, "no, no,
you're doing very well."
And lead you into insanity
because you can't see where you're going.
So yes, it's better to hear
the human taunt of an enemy
then the sweet, demonic insanity
of whispers in your mind.
That - I usually find.
But let's not settle for that -
the abuse of someone who hates you.
Instead, reach out to friends
to hear what they might say.
Cast your cares upon God
because God's love is perfect.
But friends and family also
are there to help you out.
Amen, amen, amen.
