Tired! Tired like the artist who trashed his art. Tired. ...I would've taken that off his hands, even paid 5 bucks. But I guess he was tired and just gave up. Sometimes life feels like a treadmill. The air is filled with smoke, grey smoke from the mountains. The mountains on fire. The firemen coming in from all over. "Welcome Firemen!" the hotels announce. Of course, we're all glad to see them. My lungs, my body, my cigarettes... The method of demons is to wear you down. The slow circling, the repetition of phrases like the ritual of a holy sacrifice. The slow, repeating rituals day after day. They wear me down. You throw away so much because they pollute so much like smoke in the air. So much work lost. So much perverted. I'm just glad the good guys also have their methods, their rituals. There's always a way forward. But sleep if you can. Breathe clean air if you can. And don't throw away everything.
